Famous Dr. Oz helps sick man during his conference in Bucharest

Famous American doctor Mehmet Oz (Dr. Oz) helped a sick man who collapsed during a conference he held in Romania’s capital Bucharest on May 25. The man was then taken to the hospital.

Dr. Oz was for the first time in Romania, where he held the conference Take your life to the next level in front of almost 2,000 people at the Palace Hall in Bucharest. During the second part of the conference, a man who was sitting in the front row almost fainted. He complained of chest pain and collapsed between his seat and the stage, according to a Facebook post by Dragos Bucurenci, who moderated the event.

“Dr. Oz got off the stage immediately to help the man. He talked to the patient and with the emergency crew that came to the site continuously until the man was taken to the ambulance,” Bucurenci wrote.

During his conference in Bucharest, Dr. Oz spoke to the audience about the secrets to a good health, preventing diseases, and staying in shape. He also answered the spectators’ questions about particular health problems during a one-hour Q&A session.

Dr. Oz, 55, is a Turkish-American cardiothoracic surgeon and TV personality. He became famous after appearing in The Oprah Winfrey Show, in 2004. In 2009, he launched his own show (The Dr. Oz Show), focusing on medical issues and personal health.
