Chambers Europe names Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii law firm of the year in Romania

Romania law firm Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii has received the 'Law firm of the year' in Romania award from Chambers Europe, the publisher of guides for the law firms market, which has organized the Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence events. The law firm competed with five other law firms active in Romania: Badea Clifford Chance, CMS Cameron McKenna, Musat & Asociatii, Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen, Radu Taracila Padurari Retevoescu in association with Allen & Overy.

Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii has joined a group of law firms from different European countries which have received the prize, among which: Linklaters, Baker & McKenzie, Herbert Smith, Gide Loyrette Nouel, Clifford Chance. White & Case received the award for the Central and Eastern Europe region, while Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, the European la Firm of the Year prize. In total, 23 law firms were awarded.

Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii runs a team of 80 lawyers in Bucharest and an office in Spain. It also runs a secondary office in Cluj – Napoca, in partnership with Nistorescu, Şomlea & Asociaţi, as well as partnerships with other law firms in other Romanian cities. The local law firm posted EUR 22.7 million in revenues last year, up on the EUR 18.6 million a year before.
