The Romanian Red Cross organizes the First Aid Festival in Bucharest’s Lumea Copiilor Park between September 11 and September 12. It will be the first time when such an event is organized in Romania.

For two days, 28 first aid teams from 24 European countries will come to Bucharest to take part in the FACE competition (First Aid Convention in Europe), and the Romanian Red Cross Gala. The event will gather over 500 participants and supporters.

The festival aims to encourage Romanians to find out more about first aid techniques. The event will kick off on September 11 with a parade, and will continue with the Romanian Red Cross Gala – an outdoor concert held by Directia 5, Alexandra Ungureanu and Crush, Mellina and Mircea Eremia. The FACE competition will start on September 12, 08:30. Find the event’s program here.

On this occasion, the Romanian Red Cross also launches the Face It! campaign, which aims to raise awareness about the first aid’s importance. Those who want to support first aid in Romania can do so by donating EUR 2 via a text message SMS at 8840.
