Alpine, Astaldi, Strabag, Romstrade, among runners in bid for Nadlac- Arad highway segments
The second segment, 16 kilometers long, will require funding of EUR 120 million, and has attracted seven consortia: Impresa Pizzarotti-Impregilo-Pomponio, UMB-Tehnostrade-Carena, Porr-Hidroconstrucţia, Vega-Selina-Consitrans, Aprivia-Soares da Costa, Delta ACM-Azvirt and Viarom-Vectra-Betacops, as well as the Alpine company.
The project is part of the IV Paneuropean corridor, on the route Nurenberg- Prague – Vienna- Bratislava- Budapest- Constanta. In Romania, the highway will connect Arad, Deva, Orăştie, Sibiu, Bucureşti, Feteşti and Constanţa.
