Romanian photo equipment retailer sees turnover increase below forecast

10 October 2014

Romanian photo and video equipment retailer F64 expects a turnover increase of 10% this year, to over EUR 20 million, below the target forecasted in the beginning of 2014, when the owners estimated an increase of 20%.

“We counted on an increase of 20% at the beginning of this year, but market conditions were not as encouraging as we expected. The first quarter was extremely difficult, it created problems not only for us, but for the entire market,” said Marian Alecsiu, general manager of F64 Studio, cited by local Wall-street.ro.

According to him, the most affected was the compact cameras segment, which almost halved.
