CFR announced on Saturday, April 30, the extension of the period of the "Help Ukraine" campaign until the end of May.

The "Help Ukraine" fare-free period was extended to Romania and the connections through Hungary until the end of May, Economica.net reported.

The refugees from Ukraine can travel for free on Romanian territory with CFR Călători, the company said in a press release on Saturday. It stated that the tickets would be issued only for travellers with Ukrainian citizenship or any other nationality but with their residence in Ukraine.
