Passport service moves to a mall in Bucharest

Romania’s Interior Ministry decided that the public service that issues simple passports for Romanian citizens will move from its current locations in Pipera and Amzei Square to the ParkLake mall in Bucharest starting July 16.

The passport service also has a location in the Plaza Romania shopping center.

The Interior Ministry decided to move the service in order to improve its activity and reduce the waiting time.

The Parliament also decided recently that adult Romanians should change their passports once every 10 years instead of once every 5 years.
