Some promising Hollywood productions are set to fill cinema halls this year, and they will hit Romanian screens as well. We had a look at some of the most awaited films of 2013 coming to Romania. 1.Gangster Squad (in picture)

Romanian release date: January 11

Great start for 2013. Sean Penn plays the powerful gangster, while Ryan Gosling and Josh Brolin are out to get him. Shaping up as a must see.

2.Django Unchained

Romanian release date: January 18

Another eagerly awaited Quentin Tarantino movie that we're looking forward to watching in Romania. Jamie Fox, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio and Samuel L. Jackson lead a strong cast for what seems to be another sharp dialogue and explosive action Tarantino classic.

3. Identity Thief

Romanian release date: February 8

This will probably be the first comedy to hit Romanian movie screens this year that is worth watching, plus I think that Melissa McCarthy and Jason Bateman make an interesting duo.

4. A Good Day to Die Hard

Romanian release date: February 15

Bruce Willis is back again as New York cop John McClane, older but tougher than ever. This movie is packed with action. Hard to miss.

5. Jack the Giant Slayer

Romanian release date: March 22

An interesting angle on a well known fairytale from the director of X-Men. Young actor Nicholas Hoult might just be the next Hollywood star.

6. Oz: The Great and Powerful

Romanian release date: March

If you loved Alice in Wonderland and other dark fairy tales than you will probably like this one too.

7. Croods

Romanian release date: March 22

This seems to be the best animation of 2013 so far.

8. G.I. Joe: Retaliation

Romanian release date: March-April

The second G.I. Joe movie might just be better than the first one. Bruce Willis, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Channing Tatum are ready for some action. In 3D.

9. The Heat

Romanian release date: April 5

Melissa McCarthy makes an interesting team with Sandra Bullock for this action comedy. Some predict that this may be the best comedy of the year.

10. Oblivion

Romanian release date: April 12

A  big budget Sci-Fi graphic novel conversion set in a post apocalyptic future,  starring Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman and Olga Kurylenko.
