Yield for 3-year bonds in RON drops to 2.39%

Romania’s Ministry of Finance on Thursday borrowed RON 500 million (EUR 112 million) from commercial banks at a yield of 2.39%, via a 3-year bond issue for which banks subscribed offers worth RON 1.33 billion (EUR 300 million).

The treasury borrows cheaper for this type of bonds after it accepted an average yield of 2.57% in October, reports local Capital.ro.

The ministry will organize an additional session today through which it wants to borrow another RON 75 million (some EUR 17 million) at the same yield.
