Turkish firm builds confectionery factory in Romania for EUR 13 mln

Turkish-owned construction group Synergy Construct will build Turkish group ETI’s confectionery factory in Romania for EUR 13 million.

The production unit, located in Craiova, is due in 8 months, according to Synergy Construct.

The construction group also built the underground parking lot from the University area in Bucharest in 2013. It posted a EUR 5 million turnover for that year.

In November last year, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) granted ETI a EUR 23 million loan to co-finance its biscuits and cakes plant in Craiova. ETI’s total investment is about EUR 40 million.
