Telekom, ready for Romanian launch: We will bring Telekom Interactive TV

Telekom Romania, the telecommunications operator resulted from the re-branding of Romtelecom and Cosmote, which is set to officially launch on the Romanian market on Saturday, September 13, will also unveil the new Telekom interactive TV in the near future.

The service will include multi-screen features, exclusive content for hundreds of hours of entertainment, and a personal TV experience, the company has said during its official re-branding press conference on Friday, September 12.

„We are highly committed to Telekom Romania and will make a significant contribution to the Romanian society,” said Claudia Nemat, Board Member Europe and Technology at Deutsche Telekom, who was in Bucharest for the launch.

The company aims to become the first choice for connected life and work as telecommunications provider in Romania, said Nikolai Beckers, CEO Telekom Romania Communications and Telekom Romania Mobile Communications.

Following a record breaking process for the adoption of the new brand, Telekom Romania Communications and Telekom Romania Mobile Communications will be represented commercially by the Telekom Romania brand using the tagline “Experiente Impreuna” (Experiences Together), with services offered under the „T” brand.

The official retail launch will be marked by events in several Romanian cities, including Bucharest on Saturday, September 13.
