PwC Romania names Thierry Ballot head of disputes department

Thierry Ballot is the new disputes director with PwC Romania in charge with South-Eastern Europe, the company has announced. Ballot has previously worked for the Forensic Department of another Big Four firm in Paris and Moscow. Prior to that, he spent three years as auditor in Romania.

“The current economic environment has created new opportunities in the field of disputes analysis and investigations. We decided therefore to expand and strengthen our team with the addition of a distinguished and seasoned professional as Thierry Ballot”, said Donatela Cazanacli, Partner, Disputes Analysis and Investigations Leader, PwC Romania.

Thierry has a track record in business integration, risk management, M&A, legal advice and accounting in France and in emerging markets in the CEE and CIS regions. His industry expertise includes oil&gas, agribusiness, defence, industrial products, retail, tourism and leisure.
