Allegro, a company of the South – Africa-based media group Naspers has taken over 83 percent in local Gecad ePayment from Romania businessman Radu Georgescu (in picture). Naspers is at its second acquisition in Romania, after buying the Autovit.ro website. The value of the recent deal was not disclosed. Following the deal, Radu Georgescu will remain in its board of directors. This is the third time Radu Georgescu sells a company he has founded, after selling Antivirus RAV to Microsoft in 2003 and a share package in Axigen in 2007 to a group of investors.
