Disposable tableware producer opens new production line at plant in Romania

Goldplast, a company specialized in design, production and distribution of disposable tableware, has invested EUR 3 million in a new production line for blow-molded glasses, at its factory in Topoloveni.

The company has hired 20 workers and 11 engineers for the production line.

This will produce three million units in 2018. The glasses are mainly intended for wine producers (Dom Perignon, Veuve Clicquot), restaurants, hotels (Hilton chains, NCH), catering firms and event organizers, as well as major retailers such as Metro Cash & Carry. The products will be marketed worldwide, mainly in Europe.

The Topoloveni plant produces over 3,000 items in more than 600 million units per year, which the group sells in 39 countries.
