A new movie directed by William Brent Bell, the director of the horror film 'The Devil Inside' is being shot in Bucharest, starring actors Vik Sahay  (in picture ) from the series 'Chuck' and AJ Cook from the 'Criminal Minds' series.

The new movie 'WER', a werewolf saga, is being shot by the local Media Pro Pictures. The story takes place in Paris, where the death of an entire family is being investigated. The streets of Bucharest, the Paris of the East, have replaced les veritable boulevards de Paris, budgeting was no doubt a factor.

Vik Sahay has been in Romania since the end of April. On his Facebook page, he wrote: "Vik is loving Romania, though its something to get used to. The hotel art is not quite as uplifting as he hoped for and when he asked if there was a park close by he was told there's one a couple of miles away, and if he jogs there, he'll probably be chased by wild dogs...'.

AJ Cook, who has played JJ in Criminal Minds, also came to Romania at the end of April.

The horror feature-length movie ‘The Devil Inside’, which was shot in Bucharest, was universally slammed by critics. Website Rotten Tomatoes, which averages film reviews, gave the film a score of 7 percent and described it as "a cheap, choppy unscary mess, featuring one of the worst endings in recent memory." Still, it cashed in USD 34.5 million during its first week-end. The movie features Romanian actors Ionut Grama and Marius Florian.

‘The Devil Inside’ highlights the story of a woman who gets involved in unauthorized exorcisms while trying to discover what happened to her mother, who allegedly killed three people during her own exorcism. The movie, produced by Paramount Studios, had a budget under USD 1 million and was shot in Bucharest, Rome and Vatican, in a documentary-like style.
