This year's edition of the cultural event “JTI Meetings” will take place on September 4 and 5 and will bring on stage in Bucharest the Chilean National Ballet Company . Dance lovers will be able to watch at the Great Hall of the National Theatre of Bucharest the Romanian choreographer Gigi Caciuleanu and the Chilean National Ballet Company named “El Banch”, which will perform the “Noche Bach” show. This year, the public from three other cities will also have the possibility of attending the “JTI Meetings” in Sibiu (September 7), Cluj (September 9) and Timisoara (September, 11).

This is the third time “JTI Meetings” are held under the auspices of the “George Enescu” International Festival. In 2007, the public greeted the “Bejart Ballet Lausanne” Company, choreographed by Maurice Bejart. The event was followed in 2009 by “Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, Monaco’s official ballet company, led by choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot.

The Chilean National Ballet was founded in 1945 and is the oldest and the largest professional contemporary dance company in the country, having received many awards over the years.

Gigi Caciuleanu was born in Romania and graduated from the National Superior School of Choreography in Bucharest. He has polished his talent at the Ballet School of Bolshoi Theatre. He was soloist of the Romanian Opera Ballet. In 2001 he took the lead of the Chilean National Ballet “El Banch”.
