Bucharest is one of the tourist destinations increasingly preferred by American tourists this summer, according to a survey conducted by American Express Travel, cited by local Mediafax.

Romania’s capital ranks tenth among destinations on the rise in Americans’ holiday preferences.

The first five places in the top are held by Manaus, Recife, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, all from Brazil, followed by Greece’s Santorini, Hilton Head and Grand Junction in the US, Milan and Bucharest.
