Survey: Most Romanian leasing companies expect funding increase

18 March 2015

Romanian leasing companies are optimistic about their business development in the first half of the year.

Some 84% of them estimate an increase in funding during this period but based on stimulating investments, according to a survey by leasing organization Leaseurope and consultancy Invigors EMEA, cited by local Agerpres.

Meanwhile, 64% of respondents expect non-performing loans to stay at the same level as in June 2014.

Half of the leasing companies do not foresee any changes to their profit margin, whereas 31% estimate that the margins will decrease for companies.

Some 63% of the respondents believe that their business net profits will increase in the next six months, a slight increase over June last year.
