Romanian telecom company gets Honor Roll status in American Inc. 5000 ranking

Romanian telecommunications company KeepCalling was again included in Inc. 5000’s ranking of the fastest growing private companies in America. This fifth nomination brought the company the Honor Roll status, which is given to companies that recorded a steady increase over a period of at least five years.

With a turnover growth of 219% in the last three years (2011 to 2014), KeepCalling ranked 1,816th in this year’s top 5000, and 35th in the telecom companies ranking. The company registered revenues of USD 47.5 million in 2014, up by 15% compared to 2013.

The company was founded in 2002 and has its headquarters in Sibiu, central Romania. It offers international telephone services for immigrant communities worldwide, based on monthly subscriptions.

The service was initially created for Romanians living in the US, to help them talk with friends and relatives in the country at lower costs. For example, the monthly plan Romania1000, which allows users in the US to have conversations totalling 1,000 minutes to Romania, costs USD 9.99 per month.

The service is now used globally by customers in the US, Europe, South America, Australia, Asia, and Africa.

The service can be used from any phone, by calling a local access number, from the smartphone or tablet, via a free app, or from any computer via the Web Call application.

Hundreds of thousands of customers use KeepCalling.com services. Their total international calls increased significantly from some 10 million minutes a month in early-2010 to over 45 million per month in 2015.

KeepCalling also has offices in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and Atlanta, Georgia. The company is registered in Atlanta, USA.
