Romanian furniture retail network Lem’s reached sales of RON 255 million (EUR 57.4 million), in 2014, 10% higher compared to the previous year. The company targets a similar growth for 2015.

“We managed a double-digit growth by keeping interest for premium customers and by orienting production towards new models in the economic segment,” said Alexandru Rizea, general manager Lemet, the company which owns Lem’s brand. Rizea is also the company's owner.

Lem’s opened four new stores in 2014 and plans to continue expansion this year. The four stores’ total surface exceeds 6,000 sqm. The company also plans to revamp some of its stores this year.

In 2014, Lem’s started the development of a new factory on the Brebu platform, Romania, which will be completed in the second half of this year. The project requires an investment of some EUR 5 million, partly financed by European funds.

Lemet employs over 1,300 people on the Brebu platform and in its Lem’s stores. The factory in Brebu was established in 1991. Its production and storage halls cover an area of over 35,000 sqm.
