Romanian food supplements producer invests EUR 1 mln in expansion

Alevia, a Romanian company which produces herbal teas and dietary supplements, has invested EUR 1 million to expand its factory and offices, and to acquire new equipment for its plant in Faltceni, in northern Romania.

The company had initially invested another EUR 1 million in setting up the factory.

Alevia wants to export its products in the Balkan countries in the future. The company has 160 employees in the production and the sales departments.

Its production unit covers 2,000 sqm and has an annual capacity of 4 million units. Alevia currently produces over 120 types of dietary supplements and 50 types of herbal tea.

The company had EUR 4.55 million sales last year.
