Romania spends just 60% of the planned investment for 2014

Romania's investment expenses amounted to EUR 5.39 billion in the first 11 months of the year, or 60% of the amount the Government has set for 2014 of EUR 8.9 billion.

In the 2015 budget, the government has planned over EUR 9.81 billion for investments. The budget amendments have drastically cut the amounts for investments, both from the EU funds and from the roads and highways funds.

The deficit for this year was of 0.04% of the GDP on November 30. The consolidated general budget revenues were of EUR 43.49 billion, representing 28.9% of the GDP.
