Romania plans to raise money for the second time this year from the foreign markets, targeting bonds issues which can be denominated either in EUR or in USD, according to Reuters, quoting deputy Finance Minister Bogdan Dragoi.

"Pending market conditions, the ministry plans a second issue in the fourth quarter," Dragoi told Reuters. "Until then, we will work on the process needed to enable us to issue dollar-denominated paper and will decide at the time whether it will be more favourable to issue in euros or dollars," he went on.

This came as investors who subscribed to the bond issuance in June have asked for USD-denominated bonds, as most of them were US investors.
