Romania’s Energy Authority ANRE estimates that the natural gas demand for household customers in the next 12 months (July 2015-June 2016) will amount to 30.2 million MWh.

About 98% of it will be covered from the domestic production (29.6 million MWh), whereas the rest will come from imports, reports local Agerpres.

Between July and September this year, the natural gas demand for household customers will total 1.9 million MWh and will be entirely covered from the domestic production. The demand will grow to 9.4 million MWh between October and December 2015, and only 2% will be covered from imports.

In the first quarter of the next year the demand will reach 15 million MWh, 3% of it being covered from imports. In the second quarter of 2015, it will total 3.7 million MWh and will be entirely covered from the domestic production.
