VB Leasing Romania re-brands as IdeaHolding
Local leasing group VB Leasing Romania has become IdeaHolding, after Polish group Getin Holding bought a majority stake in the company last year for some EUR 12.3 million.
The name and brand change are part of Getting Holding’s local strategy.
IdeaHolding, which posted a EUR 82.2 million turnover in 2014, up 4.2% over 2013, specializes in financial leasing for mobile goods.
In May last year, Getin Holding agreed to buy Austria’s VB Leasing’s Polish and Romanian subsidiaries for some EUR 38.8 million.
At the end of 2013, Getin also acquired the Romanian International Bank (RIB).
