The total volume of trade between Romania and China registered the value of USD 1.6 billion in the first five months of 2014, up 26.2 percent year-on-year, according to a statement of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry CCIB, cited by local Agerpres.

Romanian exports to the Chinese market stood at USD 324.7 million, an increase of 31.6 percent compared to the same period in 2013, while imports from China reached nearly USD 1.28 billion, up by 24.9 percent.
