Romania launches portal with updated legislation

13 November 2014

A portal on the Ministry of Justice’s website, which gives access to updated legislation, was recently launched, according to Minister Robert Cazanciuc. A final version of this portal is to be discussed in December, after suggestions and proposals, he added.

“We ask people to know the law and at the same time we ask them to pay for not knowing the law. This should not happen anymore, every Romanian must have free access to all updated legislation,” said Cazanciuc, cited by local Mediafax.

According to him, the format is very simple and allows searching by keywords.
