A photography taken by Romanian Mihai Nicoara in Rodna Mountains, northern Romania, was recently published by National Geographic in the Daily Dozen section.

“One fine day, I discovered this beautiful landscape in Rodna Mountains,” reads the picture’s description.

The landscape in the picture includes some of the plants to be found in the area, namely the mountain peony, and the Lala Lake.
