Israeli group resumes EUR 13 mln residential compound in Bucharest

10 March 2015

Israeli real estate group Gindi decided to resume the construction of the residential compound GviTown in Bucharest, six years after the company launched the project.

The new complex will have 324 apartments that require a EUR 13 million investment, reports local Capital.ro.

The investors work with developer Real Sol, a company owned by Shimon Galon, the former CEO of GTC Romania. Real Sol will be in charge of project development, including getting the necessary loans, construction, marketing, and sale. It will build the compound in four phases, with the first 81 flats due by spring 2016.

Gindi initially created the GviTown project for Bucharest’s medical community, but the economic crisis interfered with the company’s plans.
