Market research firm GfK Romania is expanding its office is Iasi, north-eastern Romania, into a regional hub where some 400 people will be hired. GfK opened an office in Iasi in 2009 and has recently decided to lease a new office space to expand operations.

“We rented an additional space of 2,300 sqm in a building to be completed next spring. A hub for Europe and other regions will be developed here, and it will gradually reach about 400 employees,” said Stefan Gheorghiu, senior global real estate manager GfK Romania, quoted by local Ziarul Financiar.

GfK Romania has operated on the local market since 1992.
