Insurance broker Stein Bestasig estimates that in 2015 the main tendencies on the insurance market include a slight decrease or stagnation in general insurance, accompanied by a slight increase in life and health insurance.

Romania doesn’t have a tradition in life insurance, including in health insurance, but the market has positive signs, said Grigore Stefanache, general manager of Stein Bestasig, cited by local Dailybusiness.ro.

In 2014, Stein Bestasig brokered total premiums of EUR 4.6 million, up over EUR 4.2 million in 2013.
