KPMG Romania names new partner and three new directors

Financial advisory firm KPMG Romania named Angela Manolache as the new partner in the advisory department starting October 1.

Manolache has been part of KPMG Romania’s advisory team since 2006 and is specialized in risk and compliance services. She assists clients in implementing new standards and regulations such as IFRS, Basel III, Solvency II, as well as in improving governance, financial reporting, and risk models.

She joined KPMG in 2001 as financial auditor specialized in auditing financial institutions. She graduated from the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Academy of Economic Studies and holds an international certification in financial risk management. She also coordinates the KPMG network of financial risk management consultants in Central and Eastern Europe.

KPMG also has three new directors starting October 1: Daniel Pana – tax advisory, Horatiu Mihali – audit, and Valentin Durigu – tax advisory.

KPMG has six offices in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi, Timisoara, and Chisinau.
