A technical mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Commission (EC) will come to Bucharest between May 19 and 26, said the Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici.

They will discuss the new Fiscal Code and implementing the measures previously agreed. The current agreement with the IMF expires in September.

“Let's end the ongoing agreement in good conditions, and I have high hopes that Romania will make this very important step this year,” the minister added, cited by local Agerpres.
