Guarantee requests for Romania's First House program reach historic high
The Credit Guarantee Program for Small and Medium Enterprises (FNGCIMM) has granted since the beginning of the year almost 6,800 guarantees, worth EUR 124.6 million.
They support loans of over EUR 247 million for the “First House” program.
The average value of the accessed funding amounts to some EUR 37,000.
Guarantee requests have increased in the first months of 2015 by 30% year-on-year, reads an FNGCIMM press release. The average rate of guarantee applications amounts to 220 per day, from 120 requests a day last year.
FNGCIMM has granted almost 139, 000 guarantees worth EUR 2.6 billion since the beginning of the First House program in 2009. They supported loans of some EUR 5.1 billion.
