Two doctors and patient electrocuted during surgery in Romanian hospital

Two doctors and the patient they were operating on were electrocuted during surgery at the Coltea Hospital in downtown Bucharest on Thursday morning. The incident was caused by a faulty instrument. The two doctors and the patient are fine, but the hospital started an internal investigation of the matter. Moreover, the Health Ministry also announced it would proceed with a wider control at the Coltea Hospital. The Ministry has been waiting for the local authorities to approve the control, as the hospital is under the Bucharest City Hall’s jurisdiction, according to Agerpres.
