A yet unidentified person managed to run away with some RON 69,000 (EUR 15,000) from a bank in Bucharest. The robbery took place in the afternoon of Thursday, May 25. A man entered a bank unit in Bucharest’s District 4 and threatened the cashier, who gave him the money. According to the first data, the man was also carrying a gun, but he didn’t use it, reports local Mediafax. The investigators haven’t determined yet if the weapon was real or if it was a toy gun. The police are now trying to find the thief. No one was injured during the robbery. Last week, some individuals managed to break into a jewelry store in Timisoara, in Western Romania, and leave with a box full of jewelry.
