Tarom suspends several routes from Romania until mid-August

Romania’s flag carrier Tarom announced the suspension of several routes until August 15 because of the restrictions introduced by the authorities.

Thus, the commercial flights to and from Egypt, Jordan, Moldova, Serbia, Turkey, and Lebanon are suspended until mid-August, the airline announced on Facebook.

Tickets can be rescheduled for future travel dates without any change fees or can be refunded. Changes can be made within 12 months from the date of issue of the tickets, Tarom said.

“We mention that certain categories of flights are exempted from these restrictions: those that carry goods (cargo flights), special intervention flights requested by the authorities, medical flights, flights carrying care personnel or seasonal workers in agriculture, but also repatriation flights (special charters),” Tarom’s message reads.

Wizz Air also announced the suspension of several international flights out of Romania until July 31.
