Skanska opens the first building of the Campus 6 office project in Bucharest

Swedish group Skanska, one of the biggest real estate developers in Romania, has inaugurated the Campus 6.1 building of its Campus 6 project in Western Bucharest, near the Polytechnic University.

Skanska already sold the building to Austrian group CA Immo for EUR 53 million earlier this year.

The building is LEED Gold certified and integrates sustainable solutions for reducing the impact on environment and the operating costs. It also featured systems that measure and monitor ambient factors and a virtual reception that offer information about the building and its amenities as well as services such as car and bike sharing.

Skanska will develop the Campus 6 project in four stages with a total office area of 81,000 sqm.
