Romanian Simona Halep and her coach, other athletes do the Mannequin Challenge

Romanian tennis star Simona Halep and her Australian coach Darren Cahill, as well as former Romanian artistic gymnast Sandra Izbasa, retired footballer goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea, and Ion Alexandru Tiriac, the son of former tennis player Ion Tiriac, have taken on the new and trendy challenge on the Internet these days: the Mannequin Challenge.

They appear in a video posted by Stejarii Country Club, a sports complex owned by Romanian billionaire Ion Tiriac.

“Although they are used to being constantly on the move, fitness and aerobic trainers at Stejarii Country Club said “YES” to the #MannequinChallenge,” reads the presentation of the video posted on the club’s Facebook page.

The Mannequin Challenge involves people imitating mannequins, freezing for a few minutes while music plays in the background. Celebrities, athletes, doctors, students, and many other people have done the challenge so far. Moreover, videos of dogs and cats doing the Mannequin Challenge are also among the most popular on the Internet.
