Romania prepares online tourist guide and new promotion clip
Romania plans to develop its online promotion efforts and will create an online tourist guide and a new clip to promote the country, according to tourism minister Bogdan Trif.
The authorities have a very low budget to promote the country, of only RON 13 million (EUR 2.8 million), but great things can also be achieved with little money, the minister said, quoted by Economica.net. He added that Romania will have a new promotion clip by end-September.
Romania will also have an online guide that will present the main tourist attractions in each region and allow tourists to create their own routes. The guide will also be available as an app for smartphones in several international languages, including an Asian language, the tourism minister explained. One of his goals is to draw more Chinese tourists to the country.
