OMV Petrom brings another expat in the board of directors

27 April 2018

Franck Neel, a director with Engie in the UK, was appointed as a member of the OMV Petrom board in charge with the Downstream Gas division, replacing Romanian Lacramioara Diaconu-Pintea, who waived her mandate.

Neel, 47, will take over by August 1, 2018, at the latest.

The oil and gas company will also have a new CFO starting April 2019, as Stefan Waldner informed the Supervisory Board that he is not available for the position of CFO after his current mandate ends. Romanian Alina-Gabriela Popa, 40, will take over as OMV Petrom’s new CFO starting April 17, 2019.

The new changes in OMV Petrom’s board come after the company also announced the change of its CEO at the beginning of this year. Expat Christina Verchere will take over from Romanian Mariana Gheorghe, who leaves the company after 12 years.
