DB Global Technology invests EUR 20 mln in Bucharest center

DB Global Technology, Deutsche Bank's technology center in Bucharest, has inaugurated a new research and development hub, a digitized workspace and a modern event center. The German bank has invested EUR 20 million in the Bucharest Technology Hub. Some EUR 16.7 million represented state aid in exchange for which the group needs to create 500 jobs and keep them for five years. The company currently has 800 employees and wants to reach 1,000 by the end of the year. Deutsche Bank entered the local market in 1998. It provides personalized products and solutions for corporate, investment and transaction banking, as well as private wealth management services for individuals. editor@romania-insider.com
