The number of new commercial vehicle registrations in Romania increased by 4% to 10,575 units in January-May compared to the same period last year, according to data of the Association of the European Vehicle Producers (ACEA).

The rise was slightly below the 4.1% average growth in the EU.

The commercial vehicle registrations dropped by 9.8% to 2,253 in May alone.

The increase in January-May was exclusively backed by an 8% growth in registrations of light commercial vehicles, whereas the bus, heavy and medium commercial vehicles registrations dropped in the period.
