Wizz Air passenger numbers to and from Romania stay steady in 2012

Low cost airline Wizz Air carried 2.7 million passengers to and from Romania in 2012, out of a total of 12 million passengers across all its markets, the company recently announced. The result for Romania was similar to 2011. Across all its markets, it plans to increase the number of passengers to 13.5 million in 2013. Overall, the carrier added some 47 new routes in 2012, while its airplane load rate was of 85 percent on average. The low cost carrier Wizz Air runs a fleet of 39 Airbus A320 airplanes from 16 bases, and serves 250 routes.
