Telecom operator Telekom Romania will invest EUR 100,000 in accelerating 10 local startups in the WeAccelerate program, which encourages digitizing local entrepreneurship.

The project is carried out in partnership with the WeLoveDigital hub. The ten startups, which will be selected after a thorough business analysis, will get financing and other benefits, such as work space, mentorship and free promotion for a period of six months.

The competition targets startups from all sectors that passed the prototype phase and generated revenues of at least RON 1,000.

Through this program, Telekom celebrates reaching 100,000 clients for its Freedom business services for local entrepreneurs.

Local startups can register for this competition until September 30 and the pre-selection will take place in October. The ten winners will be announced on November 10.
