Romania's Blue Air and Tarom sign strategic partnership

Romanian flag carrier Tarom and the largest Romanian airline, Blue Air, announced a partnership aimed at enabling passengers of each of the two airlines to use the flight of the other one “within the limitation of the free seats,” when needed, with no extra charge.

The agreement aims to help passengers that risk losing flight connections because of delays.

This agreement is based on the IATA Resolution 735, attachment A, B, C resolution.

The two Romanian airlines also signed the Through check-in agreement, which allows passengers to automatically transfer their luggage with a single ticket, without further additional formalities. This agreement is based on IATA Resolution 780 Attachment A, Article 3.
