Weather gets rainy in Romania on May 1 weekend

The weekend before May 1 will be rainy in Romania, according to the meteorologists. It will rain throughout Romania from April 29, 10:00 to April 30, 18:00, according to a warning issued by the National Agency for Meteorology (ANM). There will be periods of time when the atmospheric instability will be higher, the meteorologists announced. It will rain in most of the country, and the wind will also blow strongly. Moreover, hail can also appear in some regions. “Such phenomena will mainly be reported in hill and mountain areas, as well as in Oltenia, Transylvania, the northern half of Moldavia, and locally in Muntenia,” reads the ANM warning. The rainfall will exceed 20-25 liters per sqm in some parts of the country, and will even reach 40 liters per sqm in the Southern Carpathians and Eastern Carpathians. However, the weather will get warm again on Monday, May 1, meteorologist Mirela Polifronie told local Agerpres.
