Update: Six Romanians dead, 17 missing after earthquake in Italy

Update 2 (Friday, August 26): A sixth Romanian victim has been identified after the earthquake in central Italy on Wednesday, August 24, Romania’s Foreign Affairs Ministry announced on Friday morning. Some 17 other Romanian citizens are missing and five are injured, but their condition is stable. A total of 267 people lost their lives and some 400 have been injured following the earthquake, according to the latest data from the Italian Civil Protection Service.
