Romanian President Klaus Iohannis said on Saturday, July 15, that talking about the church taxation at the moment seems like "a kind of tax adventure". It takes a “thorough” discussion, with all the actors involved, so that they that could come up with a concept, but things should not be rushed. The controversy around this topic started on Thursday last week, when the Prime Minister’s adviser Eugen Teodorovici said that the church should be taxed.
