RO Police dog demonstrates correct way to wear a mask

A photo showing police dog Şuier demonstrating the proper way to wear a mask has gone viral on Facebook.

The photo was posted by the Ministry of Interior Affairs (MAI) and has gathered more than 15,000 likes and 25,000 reactions in less than 24 hours. It was also shared more than 4,000 times.

In the photo, Şuier shows three inappropriate ways to use the mask and the correct way.

Şuier rose to Facebook fame in 2018, when it was one of the dogs deployed at the Untold music festival, in Cluj-Napoca. The dog is trained to detect drugs, Digi24.ro reported. Participants at that edition of the festival queued to take a photo with Şuier.

The local authorities have recently made wearing a mask compulsory in crowded outdoor venues as the country has been reporting more than 1,000 daily coronavirus cases for nine days in a row.
